I met Christine and the Two X team in March of 2024.  Within a few days of meeting, Christine helped me apply for a grant, which was awarded a few months later.

In these 6 months I have been working with the team, I have top-notch business plan that outlined how I can expand my business without taking on a large amount of debt.  I never would have imagined I could expand my business without a large loan.

What I have achieved in 6 months was more than I was able to accomplish in 6 years.  My coaching career is on fire and I could not have done it without this team!

Luxurious Wellniss Spa

We were looking to expand our spa and met with Christine & Dina to help us with our Business Plan.  They not only helped us with an amazing business plan, but worked with us on a buy vs. rent strategy for our site.

This team worked under very challenging deadlines and produced three viable scenarios for our expansion.

We were able to obtain a very sizable line of credit and our salon was able to expand in both customer base and revenues.  The lender saw our business model and our cash flow analysis, financial projections, market analysis and expansion budget, all prepared by Two X.

We were able to develop a solid banking relationship with our lender, thanks to their knowledge and support.

Finding a lending partner

I met this team in 2022 when I was applying for a loan.  Dina Gonzales and Christine Hanson provided dedicated support and coaching and helped me qualify for a $200,000 business loan for my cabinetry company.  I started my cabinetry company because I knew that as a formerly incarcerated adult, it would be impossible for me to find employment, and self-employment was the best way to earn a living.  With support and weekly coaching from Dina and Christine, my company earned $500,000 in revenue and was very profitable.  They helped me by providing back office operational support and financial literacy training to develop a solid financial presentation for my company.

As a formerly incarcerated person, I know the challenges faced for recently released individuals. Obtaining a job is almost impossible with a felony conviction.  Finding housing without a job is also impossible.

Understanding the challenges that accompany re-entry, I outlined the key components of the re-entry program, aptly named Beyond the Gate. I wanted to focus on job training, entrepreneurship, providing housiing, food and other supportive services.  I believe that if a person has a goal and can support themselves, they are less likely to re-offend.

The team worked closely with me to design a comprehensive plan that addressed key areas such as employment, life skills training, and community support. They provided strategic advice on resource allocation, program structure, and partnership development, ensuring the program would be sustainable and impactful. By leveraging their expertise in both business and social impact, the team helped refine the owner’s vision and align it with community needs.

As soon as funding for this program becomes available, we will be able to launch.  I am grateful for the support of Mission Two X and find their support invaluable.
